This zine was created out of frustration with a system that often overlooks the unique needs of individual students, defaulting instead to a one size fits all model.
Despite the government acknowledging that “insufficient advice and support both before and during university” is a "significant barrier to inclusivity and accessibility for disabled students in higher education", very little has changed.
Only 24% of disabled people hold a degree, with neurodivergent students least likely to finish. This zine helps students understand DSA, learn to self-advocate, and access the support they’re entitled to.
